Welcome

Our cottages are set on a working farm in a beautiful part of North Cornwall surrounded by lush green fields and within a stones throw of the dramatic coastline and it’s fine beaches.

Our Location

Halgabron is a tiny hamlet with a handful of houses and has wonderful panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Just 3 miles from the fishing port of Boscastle and 1.25 miles from the village of Tintagel (where legend has it that King Arthur’s Camelot was situated) there are small supermarkets, a butcher, newsagents and several good inns and restaurants close by.

Down the coast lies the fishing village of Port Isaac (where Doc Martin is filmed), the beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay, the village of Rock with its waterskiing, wakeboarding and sailing schools, and the well known port of Padstow. Further afield Falmouth and The National Maritime Museum, St Austell and the Eden Project, Penzance and St Michael’s Mount and St Ives and The Tate St Ives are only an hours drive away.

If you feel like taking a break from driving there are some lovely walks that you can take from your cottage. Stroll across the fields to Bossiney Beach or down the hill to Rocky Valley. Take the coastal path to Boscastle Harbour or the ancient Tintagel Castle. Stroll through the woods to the mystical waterfall at St Nectans Glen.

Cottage Facilities

Each cottage is comfortably furnished, has a fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, iron, toaster and kettle, and is heated with storage heaters throughout. Bed linen is provided and all beds are made up ready for your arrival. High chairs and cots are available free of charge, but please bring your own bedding for the cot. There is plenty of room to park your cars and a lots of space for children to play outdoors. For a small extra charge dogs are welcome, but we ask that they are not left in the cottages on their own. As this is a working farm dogs should be supervised at all times.
